Ialyssos is situated on the north coast of Rhodes, only eight kilometres west of the town of Rhodes.

The beach
Ialyssos offer holidaymakers access to a beautiful sand and shingle beach with crystal clear waters that stretches all the way to Kremasti.

The shoreline and seabed are covered with pebbles, why water shoes are recommended.

Beach facilities include sun loungers, umbrellas, showers and toilets. Some sections of the beach are private hotel beaches.

Child friendliness
The resort of Ialyssos is a favourite with families, although the beach has a pebbly shoreline and moderate waves from time to time.

Water sports
The almost constant breeze from the north provides excellent conditions for windsurfing and kite surfing.

Beach restaurants
A variety of restaurants, cafés and beach bars are available along the beach.

The resort of Ialyssos
Being the the second-largest town on the island of Rhodes, Ialyssos has a lively atmosphere with many shops, restaurants and bars.

There is a wide range of accommodation from small family run hotels to large hotel complexes with beautiful gardens and large swimming pools.

The most popular activity when staying in Ialyssos is visiting the old town of Rhodes.

On the nearby hill of Filerimos you will find some of the most important archaeological sites on the island. On a clear day you can see as far as Lindos from the top of Filerimos.
